My Korean Kiddies!

I guess after almost a month in Vancouver I am finally settling into a life here. I a moving into my own place in a few weeks, making new friends and finally working again... The best part about being here is being able to work with Korean kids again. One of my main reasons for moving to Van was the opportunity to be able to work for the same company I worked for in Korea and being able to continue to teach ESL to Korean children.

For the past few weeks I have been working some long hours on the weekends taking the children on exciting field trips all over the city. I even got reacquainted with some of my old students that I taught in Korea, which was an emotional and exciting surprise. It is a lot of fun and an opportunity for all of us to get to know the city. I am looking forward to teaching full-time again in July. Until then I am continuing my fun weekend work and helping with the new curriculum for the summer semester.

Oh AWESOME!

What cute pictures. I'm glad you are right back in the swing of things.

Does it feel weird to teach English to Korean kids, then walk outside and be in Canada? That would mess me up! hahaha

It is actually awesome being around them again. It is a nice transition for me. But I'm actually not teaching now. I am running the Experiential Learning Program on the weekends. It is a lot of work, but fun because I am the one that gets to take them out and about all over!
How is your new job?
